I have this brannd new pc with all the best parts in it. But I get "out of memory" errors every time after 2 or 3 hours playing SL Then SL crashes. I need to logout Windows otherwise I cannot get back into SL.. I heave enough memory and the settings seems to be ok. Why is this happening and what can I do against it? Please assist..

Eowyn, thank you for reporting this

The main issues for "Out of Memory" are VWR-5949 & VWR-8841.

In VWR-5949 Irvine Aya - 25/Sep/08 09:48 PM comments that updating the Nvidia graphics driver to 178 series has helped.

You can check you have the latest graphics drivers by either going to your manufacturer's site or by checking here

If you still have the issue, please add your vote and comments to the issue relating to your Viewer. Please also attach your Second Life log, after you have had this issue but before you restart Second Life.

I have updated my video drivers to the latest version. Unfortunatley the problem happend again. I have attached the log now.

I got the out of memory message and was not able to move anymore. So I closed SL
