First I updated my Graphics drivers (to v177.92)
Second I logged in
Third it became well as I stated above ruined!

I tryed on all my avatars and the issue is able to be seen by other ppl in-world... Last thing I remeber doing before this happened was updating my windows and drivers to current versions, I uninstalled and re-installed like 6 times with the release canidate AND regular viewer, Which the problem still persists. . .
I don't know what other info I can offer, Except maybe more Defined info of my pc drivers n such but I would rather get feed back before diggin around again. =( HELP!!!

Just for clarification. . . When I say the Clothes slider doesn't work I mean its useless. It refuses edit the article of clothing at all, Such as a long sleeve shirt u want short, It won't shorten it the sliders don't work aka don't do anything....

Also In the below Snapshot... My avatar is only wearing something on the gloves tab yet the texture envelpos her whole top, Same thing happens with shoes It envelpos her whole bottom torso. Happens with most of all the articles of clothes I buy or make. . . even if there alphaed..

Also Below I included my system specs

Veronica,

Can you please add some more information:

  • Which version of the NVIDIA drivers did you install?
  • Can you explain in more detail what you mean by "Clothes slider Doesn't work"?
  • Can you explain (or upload snapshots of) how the "textures are rezzing incorrectly"?

Please re-open this issue when you have added the additional information.

Thank you for your feedback Veronica

There is an issue with the Nvidia 177 series of drivers, please see VWR-7957

Please try this suggestion on VWR-9205

Try this it works for my 9800gtx with 177.92 drivers.....go to advanced/rendering/features and uncheck palletized textures...or simple (ctrl alt F7) then advanced/character/rebake textures or (ctrl alt R)

The DirectX report shows

Driver Version: 6.14.0011.7792 (English)
DDI Version: 9 (or higher)
Driver Attributes: Final Retail
Driver Date/Size: 8/15/2008 23:22:00, 6049536 bytes
WHQL Logo'd: No

The 177.92 version is still beta and hasn't yet received WHQL. If the workaround doesn't solve your issue please try reverting to 175 series.

Thank you
