 Description  « Hide
Clicking the mute button from a dialog when receiving a landmark or a notecard (spam) will crash the viewer if there are pending notifications behind the dialog, at login for instance, and then all those pending notifications are lost.

the whole notification system is awkward in case of a crash at login, i don't understand why notification are not marked unread till at least one button in the notification window is clicked, it would be so much simpler.

Till better handling of notifications, at least fix the mute button in those blue dialogs when a LM or notecard is received, to reduce the loss of those messages pending behind it as one might be important and they have been sent while the user was offline, so no way to guess who or what group to read it after relogging from the crash.

Tasty, there are a number of issues here.

A design change to the way notifications are handled is here VWR-4832 Notifications and Alerts redesign and specifically VWR-6495 Re-show group messages after crash. The VWR-9173 "Next Dialog" arrows too close to Mute button on Default skin could be related to your issue. Please add your comments and vote to those issues.

Re crashing, your OpenGL is a little out-of-date, please check you have the latest graphics drivers by either going to your manufacturer's site or by checking here

Using the RC 1.22.5 Viewer, this issue is still present. It was not present in earlier versions, however. When recieving multiple notices while offline, you will crash if you mute via an inventory drop if there are any notices behind the current dialog. Since this was not a problem before, I do not believe this is related to graphics drivers as previously stated.
