Currently, the pie menu for objects owned by others has the "Mute" option at the 6-o'clock position in the 3rd-level menu. This is how you mute an object:

1. Right-click the object.
2. Select "more".
3. Select "more" again.
4. Click "mute".

"Mute" is in the same position as "More" in the previous menus. It's very easy to accidentally mute an object when you don't mean to, especially if you're trying to inspect it. It's also easy for a hand-spasm to trigger this option so fast that the user doesn't know what happened. This can lead to failed inventory deliveries from vendors that are very hard for a buyer and seller to diagnose.

I propose that "Mute" be moved to any of the other vacant positions in this menu and the 6 o'clock position be left empty to reduce the likelihood of mistakes.

This issue duplicates VWR-1773, which was closed by its reporter after it received no response from LL. Please don't close this issue as a duplicate of that issue.

Good point, Lex. I know I've accidentally clicked "Mute" a few times.

I'm attaching a patch made against 1.20 to fix this. Mute is now shown opposite Inspect in the UI (see pic).

Agreed. I've seen more than one new resident mute an object by rapidly clicking "more".

This should be fixed in version 1.22, which is currently in its Release Candidate phase.
