 Description  « Hide
I have since made a few more purchases from my last editing of this bug, and now there are more folders above the "My Inventory" option. When I try and drag them to where they are meant to be, I crash to desk top. I can wear the objects and then they show up in "Clothes" folder, in which I can then transfer them to a new folder. The attachments on the other hand I can copy to the new folders, but they also stay above the "My Inventory" line. I have cleared my catch, I have re-enstalled my second life game making sure that I do a search to find anything belonging to second life before doing so and deleting them. I just dont know what else to do. What must I do to fix this problem as you have fixed it once before. Dont you document it, cant you just go back and see what was done and either do it again or let me know???

Typically clearing cache will fix this, Edit->Preferences->Network tab, click on the Clear Cache button and relog.

Harleen Gretzky... if only it was that simple.. it was almost laughable when I read your reply. I have cleared the cache so many times I feel as if I have been in there with a fine tooth comb. I have un-installed and re-installed at least 4 times, I have crashed so many times I cant remember any more trying to slide them down and this is done through sheer fustration of seeing these folders where there not meant to be. Please dont take this reply wrongly as the problem with my inventory mess up is not as simple as you must think.

Had to ask, sometimes people forget to try that as in VWR-8421, where it did work.

Fixed, and tested. You may need to clear cache to see the effect (sorry)

Milo

Ok.. hate to say this but yeah for now I only have one folder above the "My Inventory" .. maybe more wil come, I dont know. When I try and either drag or copy the items down I crash, just like before. I do hope you can wave that magical dust and resolve this once again...

Thank you

Nothing seems to have been done since I reopened this issue. It just seems a pain to see my messed up inventory the way it is. ..

I linked this to VWR-6110.

VWR-6110 has a 100% repro how to get an object (not a folder) outside the regular inventory.
When you drag the object to another part of the inventory, there's a viewer crash, just like here.
