Hi, ATI 4870 with the same problem. And SL runs horribly on it compared to my nVidia 8800 Ultra, which simply boggles the mind considering the 4870 kicks the 8800 ultra's butt in everything else. LL should seriously considering some sort of config file that can be easily updated. The 4870 has been officially unsupported for a good six months now, would really really be nice if someone would add the profile to the game so I can use my new hardware instead of still using the old. BTW, would be peachy if ya'll could fix the problem where nvidia users have all white legs when wearing a jacket.

There are new drivers for the 280 card. After downloading them the clothing bug is not "fiaxble" with the ctrl + alt + f7 and then rebake.

So dont download the updates for the 280 if you would like the fix to work.

This issue "your system contains a graphics card that is unknown to us at this time" was reported as Affects Version/s: 1.20

If it is still an issue for you using the latest RC Viewer which can be downloaded from here Release Candidate Test Viewers please

reopen [left sidebar]

update the "Affects Version/s" to the correct one

add any other relevant details that would help LL developers fix it. Up-to-date, full details from Help > About Second Life are very important.

NVIDIA GTX 290 .NVIDIA.*GeForce.*GTX.*29. 3 1

Please check you have the latest graphics drivers by either going to your manufacturer's site or by checking in Knowledge Base How do I get the latest drivers for my graphics card?

*Note NVIDIA drivers appear to be causing problems with the Second Life viewer

If you are seeing an error message please try completely uninstalling all Second Life Viewers, saving any chat logs, if you wish. How do I fully uninstall and reinstall Second Life?

Please make sure the Second Life Cache, User Settings and content of any Temporary folders are also deleted. Reboot your computer.

Then download the latest Viewer Second Life Version Number: 1.23.4.123908 from here Second Life® Installer, save the programme to your Desktop and install.

Log into Second Life and let your Inventory fully load.
