I'm looking at the image, trying to find the incomplete letters, but can't see anything out of the ordinary. Can you tell me where to look?

Can you give your full environment also?

This appears to be a duplicate of VWR-4572, as a note was resolved (as it was incorrectly set to effects first look) and reopened so it may have dropped of the lindens internal issue tracker, which is why i am not resolving this as a duplicate.

Hi, could you post the information under Help->About Second Life that has your hardware configuration.

Also do you have anti-aliasing turned on?

I have the same problem since I installed the last version 1.23.4.
The screen shows the same illegible letters as shown in this screen capture. When I move the chat window I can sometimes find a place where it will show correctly. I have the same problem windowed or full screen.
This version seems to be very heavy and doesn't bring many improvements, only problems.
