SL previously ran fine on my Asus A8Sc laptop which has a GeForce 8400M G graphics card. But now somehow I got the error named in the title that prevent SL to start up.

I've re-installed the lastest VGA driver but that didn't help. The starting log file is attached. Any help would much appreciated!

This issue was reported as Affects Version/s: 1.19.0.5

If it is still an issue for you using the latest Viewer 1.22 please

reopen [left sidebar]

update the "Affects Version/s" to the correct one

add any other relevant details that would help LL developers fix it. Up-to-date, full details from Help > About Second Life are very important.
