The set of poses provided in http://static.secondlife.com/downloads/avatar/bvh_files.zip aren't suitable for uploading directly to Second life, as they lack the initial masking frame used to determine which parts of the pose are used in the animation. This results in the poses providing poor references for those looking to build animations/poses of their own.
