 Description  « Hide
After updating to the latest NVIDIA drivers, I can no longer see terrain under water. I can see objects, the surface, etc., but terrain is simply all black. When I turn on View > LandOwners the appropriate colors display, but again, terrain itself is not visible. I have tried changing all the diff graphics settings in both the Nvidia panel and SL to include turning off the SLI function, going from the lowest to highest settings in SL, etc. While obviously changing these settings has a profound effect on the view I get, none change this issue. No matter the settings, I can not see terrain under water.

I am hoping this is just a - duh - moment on my part as I have not seen any other posts on this issue.

It appears after some work on my end, that the latest NVIDIA drivers are the issue. The version I downloaded was 175.19 GeForce. I have removed them and reverted to 94.24 Forceware and terrain under water is again visible. I have lost perfermormance on sculpty and texture loading, but well worth the hit to get under water view back.

I will leave this open for the time being to see if NVIDIA has a fix or someone else has a fix on this.

Looks like a duplicate of VWR-8211, even though this one was entered first, VWR-8211 is already imported and has a LL ID.
