 Description  « Hide
  • Did add memory and a new graphics card for other online games.
  • Logged on to SL as usual
  • Stay connected but as soon as I begin to move or to 'wear" an item from my inventory or teleport, it crashes me
  • Crash Logger window pops up for a few seconds and that's it
  • Try to log back on and it tells me to wait until SL logs me off
  • Log back on again and same problem continues
  • Tried to resolve by checking preference settings, updated drivers, and uninstalling and reinstalling SL from website
  • Nothing is working

I should not be crashing.

I followed instructions as stated on the links you sent. Cleared cache content and cleared temp files as well as delete and reinstall SL. Although I was able to stay on a bit longer, movement is more choppy than anything and crashed twice when at a public place with others. I'm attaching the latest crash report for you to review.

Erick, this seems very similar to VWR-7017 which Brad Linden has been assigned to and is requesting further information to reproduce.

Please check you have the latest ATI Catalyst 8.6 and that it is correctly installed. You also might want to consider updating to XP SP3.

Please try the latest RC 1.20.11.

Please disable VBO Edit > Preferences > Graphics > Hardware Options
