Non-prim clothing often does not show up. Whereas gloves, shoes, socks and underwear don't seem to have this problem, shirts, skirts and jackets rarely, if ever, show up. This mostly hapens with items I still own which I had bought in 2007 or which were made before the Windlight update.
Rumi's shop in Neptune @ 226,139,26 sells a Nagaya Miko set which has a red Skirt A which does not show up, for example.

Yes, this is still an issue for me too. I RP a geisha in SL and 90% of my large kimono collection is made up of non-prim skirts. They still don't show up and I refuse to buy any more kimono that I cannot wear until it is fixed. Needless to say, I don't have a lot of options now and my "geisha" wardrobe looks pretty shabby since I only have a few things to choose from.

I have reviewed other pjira reports that indicate that skirts not appearing has been fixed, but as far as I can tell it just ain't so. It doens't matter if I use the currently released official client or 20.9, I will have cases when I put on non-prim skirts and I just don't have any skirts on. I have noticed with 1.20.9 that a rebake will sometimes cause them to reappear (for a while), but not always. Additionally, I have a prim skirt that goes invisible partly.

I'm only having problems with skirts (predominantly non-prim). So I would like to have this looked at yet again. My computer stats included below.

i also have been having this problem, skirts, especially long ones. Sometimes re bake works, but only for a short time.

Similar problem, but it doesn't only happen with skirts.
Issue VWR-7508 talks about non-prim clothing in general whereas VWR-2778 talks about skirts only.

VWR-7508 also deals with other items of clothing such as shirts and jackets not appearing when worn.

This issue was resolved as "Needs More Info" during a batch clean-up of PJIRA issues.

Reason: for an extended length of time, this bug seems to be missing enough details (reproducible steps) for Linden Lab to import the bug and investigate. Also the last affected version of the viewer on this report is viewer 1.21 or 1.20, 1.19, or even earlier, which are versions that are no longer actively supported.

It is possible that this bug is indeed valid and should remain open-- however, Linden Lab needs the following pieces of information before it is Reopened:

To reopen, please do all of the following:

(1) It is very important to confirm that this bug still occurs in the latest official version 1.23. Please upgrade to that version by browsing to http://get.secondlife.com , and test if you can still reproduce the bug using Viewer 1.23.

(2) If so, then please Reopen this issue and BE SURE to choose the "Affects Version/s" = 1.23

(3) Also, re-describe the steps that another person can follow to experience this bug. An example of a good "recipe" for a bug report can be found here: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Issue_tracker#Guidelines_for_a_bug_report

(4) Come and attend the inworld bug triages, where you can meet with Linden Lab employees to consider, verify, and expedite bugs for fixing. For more information, see http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage
