(Requested disambiguation of VWR-565)

Description: Two particle sources in near proximity. Particle source that is closer to the camera, renders particles over particle source further away. That would be "normal".. however.. when flames and smoke are created, as in this image, the flames get swallowed by the smoke.

Appearance is not consistent, but more often than not, the particle sources in "near proximity" choose their alpha sorting poorly.

If anybody can offer a solid repro for this to me I'll fix it.

I linked this with VWR-2164 because the visual impact of that particular bug might influence what we're experiencing here. Off course no way to tell without a repro particle script for this bug.

Yes.

2 and a half years later, this problem still exists. I have stoped developing items using paricle trails simply because alpha sorting has been so badly broken since 1.15
