 Description  « Hide
I was wearing my Chim and when I went to attach an arm band that took the place of my chim my chim dissapeared. I did all the steps that was told and it is till not in my inventory and I even looked at every object in my inventory. I am a dancer and it is important for me to have them and I feel that since I bought all of them once already that I should not have to by them all again. And this is not the only time it has happened. Two other people in our club had the same porblem and apperantly so have many others. I would like this fixed and fast and it prevented futher. Thank you for your time.

The same thing has happened to me with my chims. I had one then when i went to look for it to put it on it was just gone. I looked through all my objects, Lost and Found, trash, and even all over my house thinkin maybe I dropped it and it wasnt there. I waited a couple days then went and got new dances and chim then the next day it disappeared like my first one so i have lost at least almost 6k right there and I dont think it is right nor fair for me to have to go out and waste more money if my chims and dances keep dissapearing. Has a dancer i really need my chim and dances. Also I know at least 2 other people that it has happened to so i know that it was not just something i did.

Harleen and Alexa,
It is fine for you both to suggest dealing with this matter at it's proper place which would be Support. The fact of the matter is there are no real resolutions. I clearly understand her frustration. I have lost 2 Chims and 2 Abranimation Dance Spheres filled to the raftors with dances. Lust is correct at 150-350L x 20 x3 is an obscene amount of money to keep reinvesting and no RESOLUTION in sight. We are instructed to clear the cache, rearrange our filter systems, etc... even contact the vendors... Abranimations did replace 3 items one time, but how do u turn around, ask for 2nd replacement in less than 7days????. Sine Waves will not honor missing/lost items due to sl problems and their prices are steep. I have sent 3 notecards within the last 2 weeks with tranny #'s to no avail. We won't even talk about all of my other missing objects and some those vendors are no longer in business. This system of replacing/retrieving missing inventory should to be given more consideration or at the very least compensatory measures need to be in place.

The original description points to the same problem as found in https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6110. That issue was closed as "contact support" but has been reopened and has someone assigned to it, so I'll resolve this one as duplicate.
