 Description  « Hide
This problem was first discovered after purrchasing a new computer with Windows Vista pre-installed. I added my NVidia 7600 GS graphics card, which I used in my previous XP system.

Taking a snapshot and choosing the save to hard drive option using the UI or Ctrl ` caused an immediate crash. I am able to take snapshots via sending by email or uploading.
It never gets to the prompt for where i want to save the file.
I disabled Hi-Rez in the Admin options and the same problem occured.
I set the resolutions to very low, same problem. I unselected "constrain proportions" and the same problem.
I set my graphics hardware options to low, and same problem.
I removed my graphics card and used the onboard controller, same problem.
When I save textures or movies to the hard drive, again, it causes an immediate crash.
The drivers are the most current.

There is no prolonged delay from the time I execute the action "save" the photo, "save" the texture, pressing Ctrl `. The crash is instantaneous.

From what I can tell, everything else non related to writing to the disc works perfectly with SL. In fact, I find the performance is better than it was on my XP system.

I did load photos to external programs such as Photoshop, to see if I had any problems saving to disk external to SL and there were no issues. This seems striclty isolated to SL.

I installed the release candidate :Windows 2000/XP/Vista: 1.20.4.85828 and the same problem existed.

I was unable to locate the secondlife.log file.
