Please bear with me, my first submission. I have searched for edit glow and found something similar, but this doesn't have to do with camera distortion and problems with zooming/viewing.

While building/creating – when entering into edit mode of an object, normally there is a fine yellow/blue glow around each prim. For the past week or so, the glow in my edit mode has taken on magnificent proportions. So much so that I am unable to edit because I can't see the prim. I'm building jewellery and many of my prims are nano prims.

The glow also pulsates and 'breathes' completely obliterating all prims. Absolutely impossible to edit prims with this glow. Please don't confuse this with the glow feature in the texture tab.

Aside from being unable to see and edit my prims, this pulsating and breathing creates severe stress on my eyes and induces nausea. Needless to say I have a smashing headache and need a barf bag.

Please help!! I implore you. I have assignments due by this weekend. Many thanks.

Possibly duplicates of VWR-6301 and/or VWR-6244?

Lane Luke added a comment - 23/Apr/08 03:04 AM
No Harleen, it is not the same issue. Did you even read the first paragraph I wrote? Did you even look at the photos images I posted? It is not, in my view, a duplicate issue. Did I say it was camera distortion? No - I specifically said it was not camera distortion. I would appreciate it if you would read more carefully. Thank you.

Simple question, no need to flame. And yes I looked at all the pictures and it is exactly VWR-6301 when you zoom up on an object with Ctrl-0, IMO. Neither issue has anything to do with camera distortion either, so have no idea what you are talking about.

My brilliant and darling husband has provided me with a solution for this problem. So far it's been holding, but I have yet to test it with hours of making nano prims.

Advanced Menu
Debug Settings
select "SelectionHighlightThickness"
default is 0.010
change it to 0 and relog

Not flaming Harleen. Simple questions. Alright my questions were harsh. I apologize.
