 Description  « Hide
First off, 1.19.1.4 ran stable on ultra settings with all the sliders on max and all shaders enabled. I got good FPS that way, too...

However, 1.20 and up, I can almost never log in without it crashing exactly when the login progress bar is fading away and the world is fading into view. Sometimes, I can get in, but most of the time, I cannot.

I tested logging in with various changes in graphics settings, and found myself able to avoid crashing by disabling "Basic Shaders". This is unusual, because my video card supports Shaders 3.0 and is significantly powerful enough to handle all of SL's rendering capabilities (and have been capable with no issues in 1.19.1.4). Something in 1.20 is causing these crashes to occur, so this leaves me with only two choices... go without any special rendering effects on a powerful PC that should be able to support them, or revert to 1.19.1.4. I have chosen the latter. 1.20 is unusable to me, at this point, without massively degrading my experience.

Exact same thing on the G% in terms of crash point - I never could run advanced sliders - but 1.20.1 crashed a lot - 1.20.4 crashes instantly - and is unusable

I've tried all versions up to RC5 and crash a minute or two into running. I run everything on max settings for graphics. 1.19 works perfectly. Here is my specs:
