This is merely a petition to have the on/off toggle for the double-tap-run moved to a more straightforward and user-friendly location.

As currently listed, it's under Advanced --> Character, while some may prefer that it be placed on the preferences dialog. A logical spot may be next to "Fly/Land on holding up/down"

If LL has already gone thru the trouble of implementing the toggle, I fail to comprehend the reason behind hiding it from people??? I still would really like to turn off double-tap to run, but have no idea how or even if I can access this "advanced" menu.

This isn't a "New Feature" since it is implemented, but not exactly a "Bug" per se either. hrm.

I agree with this, further I would request that it is turned off by default (like "show avatar in mouselook").
