Linden Lab Issue ID: DEV-13908

 Description  « Hide
My avatar has been invisible for about two days... Ever since I downloaded the new release client yesterday. I can see all my prim attachments, eyes, hair, skirts... Just not my av itself. And everyone around me is invisible as well... Just floating hair and shoes. To others, I appear totally normal.

I've cleared my cookies and cache at least a dozen times.. Swapped shapes and skins... Relogged... Even re-downloaded the update and it won't fix itself. I plan on just uninstalling and re-installing after this is posted... HOPEFULLY that will correct the issue.

And I uninstalled and downloaded the Second Life 1.19.1 (4) Apr 2 2008 11:59:37 (Second Life Release)
.... And everyone is still invisible.

Now I have installed the update on my second, older, computer... My av rezzes just fine. This is that computer's information:

Sadly, I am not savvy enough to determine why the viewer works properly on one computer, not the other... I'm hoping someone a bit more knowledgeable can help out with that.

This has been an issue with AntiAliasing. I have the issue whenever I turn on Antialiasing in the SL preferences. Cleans up the choppy edges on things, but makes my avatar invisible. Today it got bad however...SL keeps crashing on me (no fault of the graphics card) and I am now invisible regardless of having antialiasing turned on or off in either the Catalyst Control Center or SL or both. This is getting to be a bad issue...very bad.
