 Description  « Hide
When walking with the arrow keys only, when you turn your camera swings along behind you. As soon as yu stop turning, instead of stopping very quickly as with 1.19 and prior the camera continues to swing in the direction of the turn for another 1/3 to 1/2 a second.

This action makes it difficult to walk around with arrow keys.

A similar action is seen with Alt-Click camera movements which while not as important will still cause you to overshoot and try and compensate.

This change in camera damping has made 1.20 more unplayable than the dazzlingly bright colours.

Sounds very much like my problem with that viewer...

I don't see this when using arrow keys, but it's noticable when using Alt-click-left/right, or Alt-click-up/down (to zoom in and out)

Not at all pleasant to watch - adding my vote to change it back to how it was.

Try this:
Go to Preferences:Input&Camera
Set Camera Smoothing to zero

Thanks Rachel, that does fix the problem.

Turning off the smoothing returns the damping to 1.19 levels. (ie: instant)
