• Removed Friends dropdown on Map

From the release notes of the recent 1.20 RC client. Bridie Linden Says: April 9th, 2008 at 7:03 PM @45 There was some confusion over how the feature worked, making it seem broken to some. The friends map dropdown only displayed online friends who allowed you to see them on the map — which was usually a very small subset of your entire friends list. Our Rx team recommended removing this feature from the map. You can instead find a friend on the map by opening their profile and clicking on 'Find on Map'. //---------------------------------------- I think, if there is confusion over how something works, it should be explained better, and/or made clearer. Not removed. I use this feature extensively. There is no other way to see at a glance, who has enabled mapping permissions for you, for a start. I also frequently use it to find people quicky, as opening their profile takes longer. Please revert this change. If possible, find some way to make it more understandeable. Else, just restore it as it was. The current situation is not an improvement.
