 Description  « Hide
I ran 1.19.0.5 on this system.
I downgraded to 1.18.5.3
Then had RC3 running on this system: main viewer 1.18.5.3 RC viewer 1.19.1 RC3
I upgraded main viewer to 1.19.0.5: after that RC3 wouldnt start anymore.
RC4 installs ok, but hangs in startup.
Hang characteristics: minor disk activity approx. once a second, processor usage 1%

I found out why it seemed the RC crashed: RC 1.20.2 appears to switch displays during startup.

I use nView software to use both a TFT monitor and TV screen. I start the RC from the keyboard/TFT monitor while the TV monitor is not used at all: The TFT monitor is my main display.

When starting the RC, two messages appear on the TFT monitor ... "Detecting Hardware" and
"Initializing Texture Cache" .. then it seems as if the RC "hangs" ... in fact RC has switched to the unused monitor, and has functioned normal: it's waiting for the connect procedure.

The normal versions of the main viewer have never shown this behaviour: only the last versions of RC software show it.
