This issue duplicates:

~~VWR-1998~~ Friends list empty after "clear cache" log-on

Using the 1.19.0.5 viewer, everytime I clear cache and log in my friends list is all (waiting) and (hippos). Strange thing is I can bring up the profile when clicking on any of them.
