Pre-Dazzle inventory items behave properly. Items created under Dazzle ignore attachment position and ALWAYS attach to right hand: Right-click, attach to RIGHT KNEE produces a RIGHT HAND ATTACHMENT. This is reproducible behavior in any SIM, after relogging, dumping cache, reinstalling the viewer and ensuring my AV was stripped to only shape, skin and a baldie cap with no running scripts, HUD or AO attachments. Individuals NOT running Dazzle may be given these same objects and objects will attach where directed.
