I have just installed for the first time and I get an error message every time I start the software...It reads

"Cannot create GL rendering context" and then the software shuts down.

What video card are you using?

And do you have the latest drivers?

I am using a Matrox Integrated 360MHz graphics card and I only just installed the latest software so shouldn't the drivers be included with that?

Your error sounds like an OpenGL error. Not sure what kind of chipset is in that card. Typically only nVidia, ATI and Intel 924 are the only supported ones.

Supported hardware is here: http://secondlife.com/corporate/sysreqs.php

Graphics cards info is here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Graphics_Cards

Thanks I have found out that Matrox graphics cards are unsupported on Second Life even with my newly updated drivers...So it looks like I'm gonna have to spend some money on a new card and put it in before I even get started...Is it worth it?
