Massive memory leak in 1.21.0 release candidate

After an hour or two of use, the keystroke response time becomes noticeably slower than normal and becomes unusable . A look at the memory usage in the Task Manager indicates that the system is running at about 1.36 gigabytes. Since the system's memory is 1 gigabyte, the memory is overcommitted and I suspect that is the cause of the problem. Upon loging out, the memory is usually retrieved by the operating system, but i believe there have been one or two times when the memory was not retrieved and a reboot was requited.
This happens repeatably with the rc0 viewer. I have no difficult recreating the problem.
