Linden Lab Issue ID: DEV-11731

 Description  « Hide
On a Mac, when looking around with the option (alt) and movement keys, pressing option-E causes an instant crash.

This is probably because option-E is normally used for adding an acute accent mark to vowels (e.g. pressing option-E and then A produces á). In 1.18 and earlier, this only caused a short delay before moving the camera, and in previous WindLight versions, it did nothing at all.

Edit: other accent keys (option-`, option-U for ¨, option-I for ˆ, option-N for ˜) also cause a crash.

It no longer crashes, but it no longer moves the camera either. Pressing the keys should move the camera; now, it has no apparent effect.

Could not reproduce on:

1.19.1.4 - Mac
First Look Dazzle - Mac

Repoduced @ Frungi ' but it no longer moves the camera either. Pressing the keys should move the camera; now, it has no apparent effect.'.

Open a new issue 'Camera keys no longer work' ?

I'm working to synchronize the internal tracking with the Public Issue Tracker. Internally we have considered this fixed in the 1.19.1 viewer, as it does not cause a crash. I note you have mentioned a new undesirable bug behavior... if this is still true, please do open a new issue such as 'Camera keys no longer work..."
