Immediate crashes happen at various times by pressing keys where keyboard input is expected.
Login Screen:
Typing in First Name or Last Name fields cause a crash. Password field is ok.
In world:
Chat or IM input does not cause a crash.
With the chat bar closed, pressing space to slow movement causes a crash.
In the Take Snapshot dialog, typing in the Height or Width fields causes crash.

The issue reproduce on 1.19.1 RC 1 viewer on Mac OS X 10.4.11 and Japanese Input Method(EGBRIDGE).

Thankyou SakuraNoel, the problem is certainly when input method is set to Japanese. Set another method, such as U.S. and the problem does not occur.

("Eiji" is a meaning Alphabet.)

Only in-line of Japanese Input Method input?

I found this is a bug in llmozlib2.

A fix is already in the llmozlib2 svn (r12), checked in by monroe.linden. I'm now trying to build llmozlib2 to see if the fix works.

It's good that we can know Linden's internal activities immediately from outside through the source repository! Thank you Callum, Rob, Soft, and other LL people behind them for this.

You should find that this was fixed in Viewer 1.19.1.4.
