When attempting to log in progress bar gets to "Initializing World" and then drops to Crash Logger with NO error msg. I have NOT been able to log in with this viewer since I D/L'd it. See support ticket #4051-4568328 for more information.

Hi!

Same problem: Almost same hardware: WinXP, 2G RAM, Radeon X1950pro, Athlon dual core 5200 X2

Strange thing is: was working fine 2-3 days, logged off sunday evening as usual (no crash), wanted to relog some minutes later: crash! After several tries, clearing cache, even made a clean install of the Release Candidate - no success! I set all video effects to MIN - no success.

I did not update anything! Viewer was the same, i did not change anything at all?!?! I checked the ATI website and found a new Radeon driver ... installed it: no success! I even tried an earlier version of the catalyst driver: same problem!

Any ideas??

Thanks for reporting this! We've determined this is very likely caused by bug VWR-5351. We are actively working on it, and it should appear in 1.19.1 RC1.
