 Description  « Hide
You can steal the sculpt map of no mods sculpties if you wear them and take a snapshot of your interface screen then crop the photo and re-upload the sculpt map.

1) Create a no mod sculpty

2) Give this no mod sculpty to another bug hunter

3) Have them wear it

4) Have them select it with edit tool and check the "Edit linked parts" box

5) You can now see the sculpt map on a no mods sculpty

Notes: This only works for the main prim in a link so for now you can set your main prim to another prim other then a sculpty to stop theft of your products.

Easily repro'd, this should probably have been entered as an SVC.

I think this belongs in VWR, since it's a problem in what information is shown in the client.

Still a problem in 1.20 RC10. Just repro'd myself.

The bug is still there. This is really not a big deal though.

This seems way to much of a workaround. Open the sculpt map in a photo editing program. Set the alpha layer to black (full transparent). This tells Secondlife that the image is transparent, but the data is still read off the RGB when you apply it as a sculpt map. When people go to view it, they just see a clear sculpt map. I guess if you can read sculpt maps, this might be annoying to you, but for everyone that names theirs and adds descriptions, this shouldn't be a big deal .

This issue is a duplicate of VWR-7751, which has been fixed in 1.23.4
