This issue duplicates:

~~VWR-5087~~ Attach To... from inventory ignores selected postion and attaches to stored location.

This same bug hit me in Dazzle so I decided to try this version. I am still having the same issue. I try to attach any item to a specific attachment point and it just goes to the right hand (this is for new previously unattached items)

I do not know what to do to fix it, I have tried clearing my cache and that did not help.

I will probably revert back to an old version until this is resolved.
makes any kind of building for an avatar impossible as we can not attach things properly.
I wanted to use show stopper, but figured best to go with critical.

If anyone knows a work around for this please let me know.

why is this marked resolved when it is in fact not resolved?

a simple link to the other submission would suffice. anyone coming to this one will assume there is no longer an issue....

This is the second time a bug I reported got tagged as resolved when it is not resolved.

I am not new to using the jira, but admit that I do not know all the workings, so imagine some new person popping in...

And you should put comment in here when you do such actions...

also please note, this is a different version than the one being linked to. This is affecting versions 1.19.1

It is not resolved, attachments are still going to the default hand location and can't be worked around.

It was resolved as a duplicate issue of ~~VWR-5087~~, not as the issue being fixed.

he keeps resolving it to direct it to an issue that is happening in dazzle

my understanding is if it is a different version it should not be marked as resolved.

shrug what do I know, I give up reporting bugs, this whole procedure makes no sense to me

That other issue has been updated so it's not just about dazzle. Other versions are listed. That's the central one now, AFAIK.
