Mine started in the 1.15 range. I have lost over $2550L worth of items because of this bug. The Items are still in my inventory, but I get the "Unable to create...." warning.

I had sent the items to my trash folder by mistake. When I realized that, I restored them, but when I tried to rez them, I got this message.

One login it's there, the next it's not. All scripted attachments that I made were gone. The UUID set to all 0s.

To elaborate on my previous comment. All attachments which I had been wearing when I logged off were gone. Maybe as a precaution I should take everything off before logging out?

I did not send anything to the trash folder. I tried clearing my cache and clearing it again manually, but it all seems to be on LL's end with the database.

Relating to SVC-171 which also mentions an all-zero UUID and attachments.

I can currently not wear the avatar I paid 900L for because I'm getting this error message for both the head and tail.

Great I just lost $2,000 of hair to add to the $3,000 of plants and my $4,000 Composer Flute. Sigh. So much lost inventory, the one thing I notice though it is always objects inside prims. Every thing I have lost (and it's a lot) has been inside another object, pulled out and a rez tried.

With the hair l logged out and tried a clear cache and it went, poof, into thin air.

I'm closing this to match the internal issue, primarily because the "... missing from database" error isn't actionable in itself – historically, this message has come up as a side effect of a number of root causes. For example, SL-37535 which is "Content Loss: Objects can be lost during a 'Take' action (derez)" and was fixed awhile ago per http://blog.secondlife.com/2007/05/22/116-release-wednesday-may-23/

Regrettably, in a number of cases, you won't notice the missing content until you try to do something later with it in the future, when infact it's been broken awhile.

As noted here, I've seen more recent instances of this happening, and new issues to match, like SVC-274 which I'll link to. I'm sorry to hear of your losses; please feel free to file new issues as new causes of this error come up so we can get to them ASAP.

It's also alright to create a Meta-Issue (e.g., VWR-923) which isn't necessarily actionable in itself, but at least a place where more info can be provided until we know more about what's going on.

My girlfriend lost her chimera full of dances; when she tried to rez it she got the "object is missing from database" error message. In hopes of recovering the item, she tried giving it to me. It informed her I accepted, but I never received it. Makes you not want to create or buy anything.
