Add a new filteroption 'Worn' to the inventory. While inventories grow, it becomes harder to retrieve worn items. I know you can enter a search word 'worn', but adding it to the filter would just make (second)life a little easier again.

I noticed new people often have trouble finding worn items also. Myself included. It took me about three months to stumble into the 'worn'in search option in the knowledge base. This option in the filter would be a lot more logical place for this common problem.

Hey, one of my fave tricks! Actually, search inventory for "(worn" with an opening bracket – it's more accurate.

Also, a new filter might be too redundant, since you can go to Edit menu > Detach Object to see a list of the worn.

This is a user-UNfriendly work around! I would very much like to see more "worn" functionality in the client. A tab, for example that would show what I am wearing right now and perhaps even the 20 items I "wore last". This would make it easier to take things off and on without having to dig in inventory for five minutes.

I am envisioning the way my web browser keeps a history - I want a history of my clothes/attachments. This would be a HUGE BOON for the less technical and those with inventory madness going on.

This feature is really needed – the search should be used for things other than "worn"

Torley,

The suggested Edit menu option is very unlogical. Using "(worn" also is. I can understand why these "solutions" have arised, but the game should be for non-technical people also. The Edit option is not where it should be (in the Inventory). And if I recall well, it shows all attachable items and a few bold worn items. The suggested history by StarSong might even be a perfect addition to a list of worn items only.

Regards,
Lisa

Typing "(worn" in the search box is great until you run into items that actually have "(worn on foo)" in the name of the item.

A separate inventory tab showing all worn and attached items makes a lot more sense from a user viewpoint.

I like this idea - very convenient, user friendly, and noob friendly. Even technical users who know all the tricks will use this. A history of recently worn items is also a great idea.

Agreed with Sean Gorham; a Worn TAB would greatly help newbies and the general public. One of my worst confusions as a newbie was trying to figure out how skin/shape/eyes etc all interrelated. If I had had a Worn tab, I could have instantly seen that the three are completely separate things and not interchangeable. I'm not voting for this issue because a Worn filter is un-intuitive to the newbie/average user. The tab idea, however, is awesome.

History: Created sub-task "create worn tab in inventory" just FYI. Thanks.

I'm running an inofficial client right now that has this patch built in, and i love it.
... would love it more if the "Worn" tab would also show active gestures, or alternatively, a tab "Active gestures",
since you cannot deactivate a group of gestures easily with the gestures window, but you can by finding the folder in your inv where you keep them and do a "remove from outfit" on that folder.

This is a VERY usefull feature, it will change the live of lots of residents and have a very few risk.
Please Lindens asign it and let the patch enter int o QA.

This is still a hot issue and especially for new residents. For instance it's very confusing trying to edit your hair in Appearance, while the default avatar prim hair/bald base is still attached/worn. They have no clue what is happening. (Besides prim hair and bald base for new residents being a bad idea in the first place...).
