my friends list in the newest windlight version will not show the names of my friends. it only shows (waiting) or (hippos)

i can not see my in game friends because they all show as (waiting) or (Hippos). i have tried multiple relogs and cle4aring my cache but nothing seems to help. this problem only emerged after i updated to version 1.19.0 (80044) Feb 15 2008 16:46:46 (Second Life WindLight)

My friend list is not being populated in any of the new viewers, including the most recent 'Dazzle'

relogging, clearing cache, reinstalling viewer did not make a difference..the friendlist remains in the (waiting) state

re-logging usually fixes the (waiting) issue.
