In the latest RC and latest WindLight releases, the IM tabs flash once on receipt of a new message. Following that, the only indication that they contain new material is that they are a somewhat lighter shade of gray.
This is too subtle....I have missed numerous messages from friends, only seeing them after they have logged off.
PLEASE put the IM tabs back the way they were...flashing until clicked on!
