when i try to TP somewhere the viewer freezes loading new area on the TP screen if i wait it will log me out usually I'm to annoyed so i log out or shut game down manually which usually takes 5 or 6 tries cus it sticks and will not shut the viewer down or i go to control alt delete and force it down and even then it wont shut down many times
then i relog into the game and my avatar is frozen cannot move tp or talk chat type otherwise so this forces another relog
this issue with TP has been going on for months and now with this last update... of server code on the grid.... this double relogging is happening all the time.
this should be fixed and should have been fixed the week it started for everyone back in November
also no crash logger comes up ever when this happens and it is a type of crash
prays for a working SL someday when issues like this take a priority instead of sitting in jira for months on end with no resolve

I see this as well. This usually happens if I fail a TP, exit manually without waiting for the logout, and relog with the region I was just in as my manually-specified starting location.

I have been experiencing the same issue with TPing. exactly as described above, to the letter. It is very frustrating.
To make matters worst. Not only am I having a TP issue I am finding that when I open my inventory I am freezing as well. I am not always receiving a message when I log on that clothing has not completely down loaded or anything. Once in a while I am able to open inventory but if I click on a sub folder or type a search word I freeze. I have had these same issues off and on since "the big" ugrade that happened about 6-8 weeks ago. Not sure of time frame, however I am sure everyone knows what upgrade I refer to. And I too never receive a crash report.

Can anyone tell me why this happens to some but not all if this is a bug? PLEASE fix these issues. It is so frustrating it makes me want to leave SL at times..

Sweet & Belle, this is a frustrating issue

As you can see from the related issue SVC-972, Soft Linden thinks that they have found the problem on Mac & Linux. The problem on Windows MAY be related to packet loss. You can check this using the information here Knowledge Base > Second Life Info > Knowledge Base > Support > Troubleshooting >How do I check for packet loss (network lag)? https://support.secondlife.com/ics/support/KBAnswer.asp?questionID=4237

Belle, could you please add your computer specs, SL version and how you connect to the internet to this issue. This will help to see if there are common factors. Also Belle, this article about Inventories might help get your Inventory to fully load Knowledge Base>Second Life Info > Solution Finder > Inworld Issue > Inventory https://support.secondlife.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=4417

Thank you

Hi Sweet, Is this still a problem using the latest Release Candidate and server?
