 Description  « Hide
I have been experiencing multiple failed teleports, and these result in being logged out (monochrome screen, "you have been logged out...." message, no crash log.) This alone is aggravating, but whenever this happens attachment changes are not committed back to the asset server. Here is a simple scenario:

1) Attach prim hair
2) Change the colour
3) Wait to crash
4) Log back in - hair is back to the original colour

This is happening with any kind of attachment (scripts, prim properties, prim positions, etc.)

Does it happen in the main viewer too? And the same when you relog or just crash?

This seems to be happening frequently when teleporting from some sims more than others. HUD attachements, weapons, hair are detached upon relogging folloing the monocrom 'you have been logged out ' message. Not reproducable, but seems to happen during heavy load / lag in particular. Occurs for the WindLight viewer.

This only happens when you crash out. It also happens if you teleport, the teleport fails and subsequently logged out by the system (monochrome screen which I would consider a crash but obviously there is some recovery code there.) It does not occur on a normal logout.

Failed teleport resulting in forced logout has caused my attachments to lose recent changes. Kind of like how a sim crash also make me lose anything I recently rezzed there.

Thanks for reporting this! Sounds like a dupe of SVC-972.
