I have the same issue. I can only reproduce the issue with skirts, not with shirts or other pieces of clothing.
Since the newest WindLight update, I have not been able to bring disappeared clothing back without reloging and clearing the cache. Second Life 1.18.6 (76116) Dec 19 2007 09:50:51 (Second Life WindLight) CPU: PowerPC 7450 (1333 MHz) I think this is the same issue as VWR-3282.
If there is no window open on the top left part of the screen the skirt will 'disappear'/become transparent. If there is a window the skirt will take the content of this window as a texture, and keep it even after a relog. (See screenshot) I just ran into this on WindLight.. My textures were not rebaking properly.. Then I replaced my avatar with another via "replace outfit" on folder. I took off the shirt and put it back on, then the shirt decided to disappear. Before switching avatars, my shirt (perhaps more) was (unbeknown to me) replaced by a part of the user interface..
In avatar appearance mode, I couldn't see the lower half of my avatar, and the shirt section was only showing as gray. Second Life 1.18.6 (77495) Jan 22 2008 15:30:40 (Second Life WindLight) CPU: AMD (Unknown model) (1808 MHz) |
