Intel Dual Core 2.8GHz - 2GB ram - ATI 7950 Pro 128Mb - Windows XP

Confirmed on Linux Ubuntu too with 1.18.5 (74965) WindLight

  • From Search > Groups tab, search for "Live Music Enthusiasts".
  • Click "Join (L$0)" button and confirm.
  • Edit menu > Groups, make sure Live Music Enthusiasts is checked and click "Info".
  • Uncheck "Receive Group Notices" and click "OK".
  • Log off and wait a couple days.
  • Login.
  • Observe: Group notice pop-ups appear.
    = Expected: You've chosen not to receive group notices, so they shouldn't appear.

I know minor point but if you are getting the group IM's and notice cured totally can you please check the funsctionality of the deselect of receiving group notices actually works. several of the groups I have deselected I am still receiving Group notices from.

It would also be nice to be able to switch of group IMs at times also, but I know that has been mentioned before on the JIRA

Comment [ Reopened, was able to repro this simply as described.

I joined Live Music Enthusiasts (with has frequent notices) and unchecked "Receive Group Notices". Across several days, I verified that upon logging in, I saw numerous group notices pop-up. ]
