Linden Lab Issue ID: DEV-5361

 Description  « Hide
Original summary: Windlight crashes switching to fullscreen on Nvidia GeForce GO 7900GS, Windows XP (also won't start in fullscreen)

Can reproduce 100%
Crash when switching "run in a window" off and changing resolution
Have sent dozens of crash reports.
Happy to send logs.
This viewer becomes less useful due to the inability to ever switch to a more immersive fullscreen/widescreen mode as I can in the main viewer.

Thanks Gillian! We had an earlier report of this internally on ATI... and oh dangit, it just reproed for me too! (I went from windowed to full-screen and selected "1600x1200" as resolution on a 1920x1200 monitor).

Hm, doesn't repro for me every time, but in any case, linking internally.

I wonder if this is the same as VWR-3020?

Attached screenshot of what I see for the times when I don't crash suddenly – it appears I eventually crash if I move around, zoom the camera, or just leave the viewer running.

I don't even get to see that hehe. Just BOOM. Every time.

Whoops, something I did sent my GlitchTree a second time. Anyhow, that's just a picture of a giant glitchy mess growing out of where there should have been a normal-looking tree. (And yeah the glitch waves in the wind and everything; it's a tree alright.)
