Have you tried it with the Catalyst 7.11 drivers yet? Need feedback.

Yes, i tried 7.11 drivers.
Problem still exists.

Exact same issue here, with both the latest drivers from ATI (Catalyst 7.11), as well as the latest drivers from the graphics card manufacturer (Catalyst 7.10, bit behind, but figured it was worth a shot). I thought maybe it might be a problem with DX10-capable cards running in DX9 or something... almost seems to fit the pattern I've been seeing around here. Anyway, just a quick "me too."

I didn't try it on the Catalyst 7.11. Drivers have nothing to this issue as You can see on the Crysis screens!

I've resolved this because it's linked to VWR-3184 as a dupe. Please reopen and unlink it if this infact is a separate issue, and please provide details to clarify why. Otherwise, please post new info in VWR-3184, thank-you!

OK. No problem Torley. I hope this issue VWR-3184 will be solved someday or even soon

Torley, i am not sure if this is good idea to mark the VWR-3401 issue as Resolved with Resolution Duplicate. The VWR-3401 issue mention about water reflections problem but also about other problems with the "new" cards family. There is also problem with glow feature in objects tab. This new objects' feature not work at all. You can increase the value but there is no changes on the object. Moreover there is also "mirror, shininess problem". When You set "Object->Edit->Texture->Shininess->High" the object becomes dark-gray-transparent. When You set additionally "Object->Edit->Texture->Full Bright" it becomes invisible. Moreover "Environment Editor->Advanced Water" not works at all. For the cards family there is no possiblility to change even color or other water options. In older (official) version the "Avatar Vertex Program" option makes the avatar invisible.

@shaq: Separate problems should be in separate issues so they can be focused on. (They can always be linked as "related" if they're closely connected, yet different.) More help on how to use this Issue Tracker is here:

You mention a number of problems, so please check this list of WindLight bugs to see if they're already known about:

and if not, please file new issues for each one. Thank-you.

Torley, Thanks for pointing me those issue tracker help page. I know how the support and help-desk teams work. I saw these problems opened as a separate issues but people write there about system configuration, drivers or even the ATI Catalyst versions. This issue shows that those things does have nothing to it and those problems are related to the "new" cards family. So it might be good issue for somebody assigned to this issue.

Looks like fixed. Status changed.
