On the standard, windlight, and candidate viewers I have limited Graphics ability. When started the viewers set the card to lowest settings.

Windlight I have no options to the Hardware Skinning, or cloth, when running no reflections are visible, shiny objects are black, alphas seem to fail, no ambient lighting or glow, no Anisotropic Filtering even if checked and enabled through Driver settings, and after minutes running will crash.

Standard Viewer, "enable water ripple" grayed out, "Bump Mapped" and "Bump Mapped & cloth" are grayed out. while running shiny objects seem to reflect, alphas work, and ambient lighting working, Anisotropic Filtering fails even enabled as in Windlight, also Crashing after minutes.

Candidate same as Standard Viewer.

have reinstalled all the clients clearing cache, have tried reinstalling drivers, no effect.
Other game/graphic software run flawless.

Nov-21:
Tried the new Windlight viewer, no changes to the issue.

same problem here. Newest Catalyst Drivers, and everything.
if i set everything on high, on the GPU side as well as in Second life,
the windlight viewer just crashes.

Exact same issue as original post, except objects with "shiny" turned on are transparent.

Same problem, but I have an AMD Athalon64 3800+, and only 2GB ram.
I just upgraded last week, I hope this gets figured out.
I also am getting lower FPS, from 40-50 to 15-20. Anyone else getting that?

STILL happening in WL 1.18.5 (75173), as well as #VWR-3127 (invisible shiny stuff). I really would LOVE to actually get to see these features. My card is more than capable – Radeon HD2600XT 512MB, PCI-Express, 2GB PC6400 DDR2, Athlon64 X2 6000+, WinXP Pro. Bump? Comment from a Linden? Something?

This is NOT resolved.. is anyone else still crashing all the time? It's ridiculous they closed this issue when I know for me, I crash all the time, just upon turning or camming around.. it's insane.
