I set this as a bug, because it is not a new feature. It is an enhancement, but on the verge of a bug IMHO.

I set priority as a major. I just noticed the blog entry on the subject and hurried to enter the issue. If you advertise a feature, it should also be clean and neat.

The order as it is, is clumsy and takes up a lot of space on the screen, especially if I want to open sim times, for example. How about:

Take Pipeline and Texture out of Render and make them on the same level, so:
Advanced

  • Render
  • Pipeline (just checked now, where is it?)
  • Texture
  • Network

And rearrange Simulator:
Simulator

  • Speed
  • Time Dilation
  • Sim FPS
  • Physics FPS
  • Time
  • Details
  • (the rest goes here)

Might also take Time Dilation out of Simulator (we have fps there which is the same thing) and put it into Basic, below the ping. Though, if VWR-3353 will be implemented, that would be less important.

Basically this would rid us of one level (levels are hard to notice anyway because the indentation is just a couple of pixels) and reduce the size of groups, making it possible to view what one is interested in without the window taking all of the screen height.
