after the WL client "breaks" a "texture skirt" this way, it stays invisible even in the normal client, until you rebake.

I am having this issue with Windlight. Skirts do not appear at all...or they appear for a moment and then disappear. Rebaking does not fix this nor does edit, not does taking the skirt off and re-wearing. Other avitars cannot see it either. (Windows XP NVidia7600)

Seems the same problem

I have this same problem. Skirts appear while loading but once texture is fully loaded they disappear. In the appearance editor, newly created skirts will disappear if their length is changed, and all disappear when the editor is closed.

Rebaking temporarily fixes the problem for me but it re-occurs after a few log-ins.

Some other users can see my skirts even when I can't, some can not (perhaps other WindLight users?).

Also can confirm what Yuukie Onmura stated - 'broken' skirts remain broken when switching back to normal client.

Haven't noticed it with any other clothing types.

This does not seem to be WindLight-specific – we're going to followup in VWR-2778, thanks for your report!

Amend my earlier comment, the problem appears to originate in WindLight... see updates in VWR-2778.

I'm still having problems with my shirts not rezzing, even after downloading the release. I have tried the rebake thing repeatedy. I get a shirt to rez and then move on to the next one then back to the first one and then it wont rez again.

Confirmed June 9 that this issue is still present in RC8 for both macintosh and windows versions.

As of June 12 this behavior is continuing. I've experienced it and witnessed it on others.
