I find it ridiculous that this must be voted on. But it has my vote. How are we to measure the effectiveness of classifieds?
Yes, I've confirmed this, too, with 20 different ads watched over 2 days, none of which are showing any teleports, although prior to the installation of 1.8.5 they all had teleports or map views.
This zeroing out of the metris on the classifieds is happening spontaneously, and is not related to the problem of UPDATE and SAVE CHANGES flagged in past bugs. No changes to the menu or actions on the menu are taken, yet they are zeroing out and staying at zero. And yes, I find it absolutely ridiculous that grown men and women who pay for their classifieds in real money that is part of the Lindens' revenue have to come and "vote" for this sort of issue as if it were a popularity contest, fighting their way past odd, wonky issues like occlusion or something. Worse, they risk having their issue closed or moved into obscurity by a fanboy coder who doesn't find the economy interesting.
When something is broken that we pay for, it should be fixed without all this clap-trap. Aric, making a classified with 1.18.5 RC and then teleporting to it myself correctly increments teleport counter from 0, 1, 2, 3. This persists across sessions.
Could you investigate a mix of 1.18.5 RC and 1.18.4 for both clicks and reporting? Milo, can you repro this when you have a moment?
I've gone back and forth between 1.18.5 and 1.18.4 and the older version continues to show correct traffic on the classified ads. Right now, I've got 3 ads, one of which shows 2 teleports (it was 1 when I arrived), one shows 1 teleport, and otherwise, everything else is zero.
Relogging with 1.18.4 shows, per ad: 59 teleport, 4 map, 0 profile; 141 teleport, 6 map, 1 profile; 18 teleport, 1 map, 0 profile. The stats are there, just not being shown in 1.18.5(1) This issue has been fixed and will go out with the next revision of the RC

I am in the midst of trying to track the effectiveness of my classifieds. Sadly, the number are innaccurate compared to the name I have listed. Also, ever since the NEW search has been put in place, my numbers of visitors havebeen way off!!!!!!!! WHY am I paying to advertise in a Classifieds section that seems as useful as a chocolate fireguard? Hmmm....time to re-examine...yet again!!!!!!
This is definitely broken. I have an add that normally gets 200-300 teleports a week. This week it's showing 15 teleports for a 50,000L add. It's still broken.
Look under your profile and you will see those three items listed at the bottom of the classified.
What I suspect is happening is that when someone teleports to your classified add from the All Search, it is not tallied. However, when they teleport from the old Classified tab, it is. Why is this bad? It's bad for us, because we can't accurately tell how well a classified is doing. It's very bad for LL, because if the number of teleports is severely undercounted, then people will pay less for ads and place fewer ads. I wondered why this week I had 16 teleports, when I checked and I normally have about 400. Yet sales are really good.
I appear to be seeing teleports for my add now BUT I notice I am no longer coming up in the list in the order that i used to. In fact as i click through all my carefully chosen keywords i do not see my add at all. WTH?! If i look in the classified add my listing is fourth or fifth- but in the all tab it is not there. WHY?!?!?!?!?! Are my lindens wasted now? What's the point of paying more for a higher listing if my ad isn't going to show????

stil the same probleme i have let people tp on me clasifeid and it dont count. now three weeks same probleme Problem still exists in latest Release candidate.
This issue may have been assigned and classed as major but it appears to be being ignored. Milo Linden - as the person this has been assigned to this, can you tell us if anything is actually happening with this issue? We pay good money for these classified adverts, even in the current climate where we are paying for time where no one can use the ad's due to the many errors in world. I don't think its that unfair to ask for this to be fixed as its been going on for a ridiculously long time now. Can we please have an idea of some kind of time period to fix this issue.
