VWR-4137 Date columns in tables are sorted alphabetically
Using Inspect Objects (pie menu > More > More > Inspect), the column headings can be clicket to sort. The Creation Date column sorts via left-to-right alphabetically, rather than (as more useful and implied) chronological order.
See attached screenshot "Inspect Object - creation date sort.jpg". Note that currently, the day of the week is the first sort, then month, day, time, and finally year. The sort should use (obviously) the numberical values of the year, month, day, and then time. Common names for months and days of the week should not be used for the sort, but their presence does enhance human readability, and should be retained for display purposes.
