From the Pie menu select Groups, the list is empty. From Profile though, correct membership is shown.

I get this all the time. I have to relog, sometimes multiple times so that I can change Group memberships

Oh, I used VWR-2633 for this exact issue, don't know if it's a true Dupe, I suggest for today's triage we do these two at once though.
