The secondlife client was taking up to 500mb of running memory after just a few minutes of being logged in, even with draw distance to 64m, and staying in one area. Decided to re-install the sl client. Uninstalled it, then downloaded the Release Candidate Viewer (1.18.3.4). Installed it, then ran it, set it up. Once inworld I crashed. Started it back up, submited the crash logger, then logged back in. There my main inventory folder ("My Inventory") was missing, only the Library folder was showing.

Uninstalled the client, and installed the main sl client (1.18.2). It kept my old settings, such as last log in name, screenshot from last log in. Deleted the user settings and other files in the Documents and Settings and uninstalled the client, and reinstalled it.

When logged in, still do not have my main inventory folder, but if I search in the inventory window, its fetching all the items, just not showing them, just showing the Library folder.

If someone tries to give me an inventory item, it causes me to crash.

My avatar loads fine with all attachements, my friend list loads and can send and receive IMs and group IMs.

Already have. Someone also suggested posting here as well.

Heh, support has no clue, so they send people here, and we have no clue, so we send them to support. Meanwhile the inventory code's a mess.

Anyway, usually the Library folder's the one that goes missing. Try clearing your cache multiple times, that sometimes fixes the problem. For more details check out SVC-114. Best of luck.

BUMP
Come on LL- This is an issue of NOT being able to do anything in SL at all. Not something he could work around knowing it will be fixed eventually!

Bump

"Bumping" doesn't work on Jira.

Jira is really bad at support issues. This issue will not likely be seen in triage for several months. You need to try contacting some Lindens that can help you with this, if support isn't helping.

I'm going to go ahead and resolve this, considering its age. If it is still an issue, then reopen it, but like I said, this really isn't the right place to get this type of issue fixed.
