 Description  « Hide
This is related to VWR-333.
  • In your Inventory > Library > Gestures > Common Gestures folder, drag "dance8" to your My Inventory > Gestures folder.
  • Right-click and activate it. (Sometimes, you have to activate it twice before it shows as active. This is also buggy behavior.)
  • Double-click "dance8" and next to "Trigger", enter "test".
  • Save the gesture and go to View menu > Gestures.
  • Observe: The gesture shows up.
  • Relog.
  • Go to View menu > Gestures again.
  • Observe: The gesture is not there.
= Expected: All active gestures should be shown in this window.
    > Workaround: Double-click the affected gesture and check "Active". The gesture will again show up in Active Gestures.

See picture showing that "dance8" is clearly active in Inventory, but not shown in Active Gestures.

I have a similar problem. This happens only with gestures that I create, as far as I know. I activate the gesture, but upon relogging, it is no longer active at all. I can activate it again and it works just fine, but upon relogging it once again is inactive. It does not store the active setting until activating it several times.

Note that VWR-1944 is a symptom of problem in VWR-333. Basically the cause on VWR-1944 is that the gesture through a combination of events, loses the asset id that is stored in the server. The gesture manager has one asset and the server has another. I have verified that my patch on VWR-333 fixes this issue.
