Linden Lab Issue ID: SL-51777

 Description  « Hide
Original summary: Texture Picker shows current texture UUID for textures and sculpties.

If you go to the client menu and turn on "View Admin Options" and then rez any item that you have mod perms for, or if you have a friends mod perms for their items you can go into the build tool, go to the texture picker and right there in the picker windows title bar is the textures UUID. It will show the UUID no matter what permissions the texture has. It will show it even if the texture has no perms at all, this is also true for sculpties.

This is a very serious and worrying problem, especially for people who make and sell textures or sculpties for a living on SL as they can be VERY easily stolen this way.

It seems this isn't a new bug either, people have told me this bug has existed in SL from pre 1.7 but nothing was done about it, and now with the introduction of sculpties they too are now affected by it. I think this is disgusting.
